The Georgia Book & Paper Fair is back! Sponsored by the Georgia Antiquarian Booksellers (GABA), this will be our second year in the fabulous Ebster Recreation Center – just two blocks down the street from the Square in Decatur, GA. The Georgia Book & Paper Fair is presented in conjunction with the Decatur Book Festival with support from the Southeast Chapter ABAA (Antiquarian Booksellers Assoc. of America).
More than two dozen booksellers, specialists in vintage and rare books, from around the Southeast and beyond will be selling books, broadsides, pamphlets, magazines, prints, maps – and more. Last year one of our vendors even had “literary socks.” In addition, there will be talks on books and authors, you can learn about the art of book binding with a book binder, and you can enter drawings to win books! Like a treasure hunt, you won’t know what you’ll find unless you come to the fair.
Admission is free at the air-conditioned Ebster Recreation Center, located at the corner of Electric Avenue and West Trinity Place in downtown Decatur. Come join us on Saturday August 31st from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday September 1st from noon to 5pm.
